Have you ever had a money cake? My grandma used to make them for us when we were kids – she’d wrap coins in wax paper and hide them in the icing layer of our birthday cakes. When you ate your slice, you would always hope for lots of coins! This Saint Patrick’s Day, I thought it would be fun to use chocolate coins instead and hide them under shamrock toppers on these miniature cakes. So simple, but what a fun surprise!
