DIY Travel Map

Whenever I travel, I collect funny little tchotchkes and knickknacks that end up buried at the bottom of a drawer or thrown in the trash. Today we have partnered with Home2 Suites by Hilton to show you how to create a DIY map inspired by your summer travels! This DIY is a great way to put those little keepsakes to good use while also creating a fun way to remember your vacation. Check out this video we made for a step by step guide to making your own!

DIY Travel Map| Oh Happy Day!

Before you leave, plan all of your vacation hot spots in a checklist – your kids can tick them off the list during your stay. While you’re traveling, collect funny little things to add to your map later! You can collect tickets, postcards, pins, or anything else you gather on your travels. Each day, you can spend a little time remembering the fun things you did and gathering simple items to memorialize your adventures. When you get home, decorate your map as a fun way to remember your journey (you can even draw on it!) This craft is so easy and fun to do with kids, and can be put together quickly with minimal supplies. Feel free to get creative!

Could you please link to where you got the minimalist maps from? Or did you have it designed for you? I love the look of adding the momentos on the very simple map
