Cheers to backyard barbecues, picnics in the park, fireworks, parades, popsicles and sparklers! Top some basic cupcakes with these cute flag toppers – just be sure to save room for watermelon and apple pie! Happy 4th!
Step 1: Cut out an approximately 2 ½” x 2” rectangle of red or pink card stock.
Step 2: With a Sharpie Mean Streak Marker, draw stripes across the front of the rectangle. Let dry.
Step 3: Cut out an approximately 1 ¼” x ¾” rectangle of blue or turquoise card stock.
Step 4: With craft glue, attach gold star confetti to the blue rectangle
Step 5: With craft glue, attach the blue rectangle to the upper left corner of the red triangle.
Step 6: With hot glue, attach a cake pop stick to the back side of the flag.
