Ever since I was 17 and I heard about the concept of an “around the world ticket” I became obsessed with the idea. Now that I’ve traveled a little bit it doesn’t seem that glamorous. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see the whole world. It’s just that all of my friends that went to third world countries this summer all came back with worms and diarrhea. I’m a little more realistic now. And frankly it doesn’t interest me as much as it used to. That still doesn’t stop me from going to the Airtreks website every few months to plan me a dream trip.
