Anchors aweigh! Recently I’ve been pretty obsessed with all things nautical, so these DIY paper boats were a lot of fun to dream up. Make them for a pirate or nautical themed party and keep them around as home decor afterwards. Or, wouldn’t they be great as Mayflower decorations for Thanksgiving? You probably already have all the supplies you need.

The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holiday’s to get together with family and friends. Grab a blanket, plan out some picnic boxes, and head to a park where they will be showing fireworks in the evening. Sparklers, some flag garland in the trees where you sit, and treats for the kids is all you need! (PS – Our favorite 4th of July ideas!)
I stumbled across this fish cake on Pinterest the other day and fell in love. It would be so fun to plan an Under the Sea party around it. You could serve sushi and hang paper nets everywhere. I also love the idea of using clear balloons as bubbles! Have you ever thrown an ocean-themed party?
Did you see last month’s DIY Paper Net Garland post? This cut paper garland is a variation on them. Make these springy hanging garlands with just paper, glue, and scissors! Wouldn’t they be fun hanging in a doorway at your next party?

I always try to think of craft ideas that I can make with supplies I already have. This month I have lots of tissue paper scraps leftover from another project so I came up with this papier-mâché garland. It’s easy to make and customize with any colors of tissue you like – tailor the color palette to use as decor for a party or just to add a colorful glow to a room.
