The best party I’ve ever been to was…
I’ve been to so many fun parties, it’s hard to pick an overall favorite! But probably the most special one I ever attended was the baby shower for Rebecca Thuss before the birth of her daughter. The handmade decor and favors, made by Rebecca, were just tops. No one has inspired me as much as she has so I loved getting to see what she can do first hand. She’s my role model and the reason I craft!

A clear ruler with a slip-free surface on one side (mine is by Martha Stewart Crafts). It’s always on top of the pile of whatever I’m working on at the moment.
Best Cure for a creative block:
I go back through items I’ve pinned on a general inspiration board on Pinterest. I keep all the best inspiration there – if I see something that’s just awesome or could spark an idea one day, I always put the image there, whether it’s a photo I took, a magazine clipping, a web image, a random doodle to explain an idea, anything! It just helps that it’s all in one place
Sweet or Savory?
Savory: a good piece of bread served with butter and flaky salt is my ultimate weakness.
Favorite Holiday?
I love Halloween! I’m excited and thinking about what costume I’m going to make all year long.
