I’ve often fantasized about owning a herb garden but a) I live in SF, have very little natural light and no yard and b) I’m the worst with plants and inevitably end up killing them. I love using fresh herbs to add that extra something special to meals. However, whenever I buy a bunch of basil, it ends up wilting pretty quickly. The whole thing ends up being a wasteful and costly exercise. Today, we’re excited to partner with Root Farm to show off how we incorporate fresh herbs into our meals! Read on to see!
Root Farm Hydroponics has created this awesome system where you can grow plants indoors! There’ll be no more wasted produce, you just pick what you need and leave the rest to continue to grow. Plus, the system makes it a lot easier for your plants to thrive and you have ideal growing conditions all year long. It doesn’t end with herbs, you can also grow veggies, fruits and even flowers! Just start the seeds, transplant them into the system with growth supplements, and watch them grow! Perfect for the urban-dwelling black thumb. Bon Appétit!

I love fresh herbs. Now that the weather is getting cooler I may need something like this.

Love this! I live in a place where I can’t grow plants outdoors, so this is perfect.

I also have a “black” thumb, but cannot grow indoors because I have 3 cats that love plants. I do however have a garden, down the peninsula from you. I was born and raised in SF, but escaped long ago. I’m experimenting with herbs, apples, lemons and rhubarb.

I simply love indoor herb gardens! I still dream of the day I’ll start my own!
