As summer draws to a close, we’re starting to get excited about going back to school. These cupcake and sweet little toppers just might be the perfect after-school celebration treat for a good first day!

Materials needed: Red pom poms (about 3/4 inch size), toothpicks, glue, green crepe paper, scissors, twigs.

Step 1: From the green crepe paper, cut out tiny leaves (approx. ½ inch length).
Step 2: Cut ½ inch piece of twig.
Step 3: Glue leaf to twig. Let dry.
Step 4: Glue leaf and twig combination to pom pom. Let dry.
Step 5: Glue toothpick to pom pom on opposite side of leaf.
Step 6: Enjoy!
