This weekend had the most glorious sunny weather, which is sort of rare for San Francisco this time of year. It worked out perfect for our ward barbeque. I got a sunburn since I haven’t used sunscreen since I moved here, and the thought didn’t even cross my mind I would need some. The barbeque was great although we ran out of veggie burgers. We usually plan for about 70% meat-eating republicans and 30% left-wing vegetarian hippies. But the hippies were out in full force that day.

Then Paul indulged my redecorating urges. We sold our desk, bought a new one, and assembled it. Then we bought a bookshelf to hold all the things that used to be in the other desk. Finally, we braved the hoards at IKEA and bought a hutch-type thing for the kitchen. We needed more counter space. Our house is getting way cuter.
