Holiday Wrapping Party

Today we’re partnering with ReadyRefresh℠ by Nestle® to host a holiday wrapping party. Before the holidays set in I always stock up my pantry on basics like bottles of S.Pellegrino and sparkling waters for dinner parties and Holiday parties. I love having a well-stocked pantry. It’s great because I can throw a party and focus on the cute details instead of some of the logistics. I’ve always wanted to throw a wrapping party. I love wrapping presents as much as I love giving presents. It is such a fun creative process to have lots of fun paper, ribbon, stickers and tags and then putting it all together. Throwing a wrapping party turns a chore into a creative project you can do with friends.

When you’re planning a wrapping party during the holidays, there are a few things to keep in mind:

1) Try to streamline the prep errands as much as possible. The fewer trips out for supplies – the better.  I especially love it when I already have the supplies for a party on hand at home (one less thing to think about!) To start, I always want my guests to happy so having a drink to enjoy when they arrive is key! This is where our partner ReadyRefresh by Nestle comes in. It is a totally customizable beverage delivery service that drops off all kinds of bottled water in assorted sizes and flavors like Arrowhead (still and sparkling), Nestlé Pure Life, Perrier, S.Pellegrino, and Acqua Panna to your home on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, or bimonthly basis. It’s brilliant! ReadyRefresh helps keep your family hydrated with a variety of options for everyone and makes sure you always have extra beverages on hand for holiday entertaining. If you sign up today, you can receive up to $50 off your first ReadyRefresh delivery!

2) I feel it would be super easy for an event like this to look like a dog’s breakfast. That’s why it’s important to stick to a color scheme of some kind. It doesn’t have to be super strict, i.e- you don’t have to limit yourself to just a couple of colors- but stick to a general tone like pastels, brights, bold hues, jewel tones, natural hues or traditional Holiday colors etc. For this party, we chose a fun, bright colors with an emphasis on bright/neon pink, teal and mint and bright yellows. Also, we added a touch of metallics for some sparkle!

3) Provide a variety of washi tape, ribbon, twine, gift tags, stickers, wrapping paper, maybe even gift boxes and bags, in your chosen color scheme. You can also supply a range of christmas ornaments as gift toppers. After having been to parties where they’ve run out of tape or wrapping paper at the last minute, I’m always prepared by having lots and lots of crafting supplies on hand: ample scissors, tape, etc.

Happy Wrapping!

This post is sponsored by ReadyRefresh by Nestle. A study recently showed that 69% of those surveyed experience feelings of stress and anxiety when household items start to run low: as your bottled water supply dwindles, you begin to hoard those last few bottles for your family – especially during the holidays when your list of to-dos is longer than ever! This is known as the “Fear of Running Out.” ReadyRefresh removes this “FORO” (#NoMoreFORO!) by making sure you always have extra beverages on hand for holiday entertaining. Be sure to check out ReadyRefresh on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube! Use the hashtag #NoMoreFORO to share times when you have experienced FORO!

What a gorgeous gift wrapping party! Also, does this water delivery service have an app? Sounds pretty handy, especially here in NY where you dread heading out because of the cold weather.

For someone who never got into baking cookies the cookie swap parties around Christmas time were not a thing I could participate in. But this is a great idea to combine what could be a solitary, robotic chore into a creative, fun, fellowship. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely try Ready Refresh.

Such a great theme! Enriching an otherwise rudimentary holiday ‘chore’ with a genial energy and aesthetic offers guests a welcome respite from the madness that can be the Holiday Season!

What a great idea. I love wrapping presents with extra special touches so that the recipients feel the warmth even before they open the gift. It would be especially fun to do this with friends so that we can share ideas. And don’t get me started on my love for sparkling drinks….I didn’t know I could regularly get them delivered right to my door. Sounds like a win win.
