The best party I’ve ever been to was…

I’d have to say the Wild Kratts inspired birthday party we threw for my son Lucas and his buddy Judah for their 5th birthday. My answer sounds crazy because it’s a kids party, but I had so much fun–perfect weather, a live animal presentation, homemade paletas, delicious animal-shaped food, custom t-shirt favors for each kid, chocolate cake, and of course donut holes!

So hard to name just one! I’d have to say “Kiss” by Prince, “Push It” by Salt-N-Pepa, “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake, and “Poison” by Bel Biv Devoe. Oh, and “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go” by Wham!

The one crafting item I could never live without is…

Paper–roll it, cut it, tape it, shred it, print it, fold it.

Best Cure for a creative block:

A trip to the hardware store. Also, going outside! Sometimes I just need to force myself away from my desk/computer and going outside always clears my mind.
