Birthdays at work are their own beast. You always have to come up with good ways to celebrate all the time. This Balloons in Things is the perfect anecdote. Just blow up the balloons ahead of time and arrive early to put them in your friend’s cubicle.
Have you ever filled up someone’s desk with balloons?

I did this for a friend at work 10 or so year ago. I was SHOCKED how many balloons you really need in order to make a standard size cubical feel even kind of full. It took me hours to blow up the balloons, but his reaction was AMAZING!
I go for streamers at work now…much easier and you can store them and reuse them over and over.
The best was when someone left me a pair of roller skates for my birthday at work for my 22nd birthday. I spent the whole day rolling around the place…it was great.
