As a counterpart to this little ballerina topper, here’s a baby boy version – perfect for a baby shower. Of course, you can change the paper to any color you’d like….or even use a cute pattern that matches your invites or decorations. It would be so easy to make a matching garland with paper onesies and the little mini clothespins. This template has extra onesies on it just in case you want to go ahead and do that!
Materials needed: blue paper, baby onesie template, 2 blue paper straws, scissors, mini clothespins, twine, 2 bamboo skewers, glue.
Step 1: Download and print out the baby onesie template directly onto blue paper. Use different shades of blue, if you’d like. Set aside the extra onesies for a garland, place cards, or to use as menu cards. Make more onesies with this extra onesies template.
Step 2: Cut out the onesies.
Step 3: Cut a notch into the top of each blue straw.
Step 4: Cut a 10” piece of twine and attach each end to the top of a straw by slipping it into the notch you just cut.
Step 5: “Hang” the onesies on the twine using mini clothespins.
Step 6: Insert the bamboo skewers into the bottom of the straws, and insert the skewers into the cake.
