This post is brought to you by Behr. Find Your True Hue.
We just finished renovating and decoration the new Oh Happy Day Studio. We are going to start sharing the before and after pictures in the next few weeks. Today we wanted to kick off our first sneak peek with Behr paint! We moved into an old sewing factory (a sweat shop!) in San Francisco. Color can be tricky for us because our brand is all about color and we use color so much. Because of that we like to have blank white walls. But I still wanted some other little touches of color so we decided to paint the doors a bright yellow! We chose Behr’s Unmellow Yellow. It also is a zero VOC and APEO free environmentally friendly option which is so important.
The yellow doors were the perfect bright accent. It added “Oh Happy Day color” but isn’t overwhelming. Today, we are partnering with Behr to give away a $500 gift card to The Home Depot® so you can try out your own favorite color.
Here’s how to enter!
1) Visit Behr’s ColorSmart site and pick your favorite color.
2) Comment below! Share your favorite color and what you’d like to paint in this color.

Flirt Alert caught my eye. I have an out-of-the-ordinary painting plan brewing and that may be just the color I need to pull it off.

I’m absolutely in love with “Dew Pointe” (mint forever, please!), and would love to use it the way you have, Jordan, by painting the doors in our house for a pop of color! Would add a nice and interesting element to our suburban home!

We’re moving into a new apartment with a work area built into a recess in the hallway. I’d love to paint the wall amount the desk “lawn party,” P390-6. The sunny green would liven up the space. We could also paint the wall behind our Pullman Kitchen. All the green would give a real punch to our plants too!

I love “High Dive”! We are expecting our first child (a girl!) in October and I have a plan to buy a boring Ikea dresser and paint all the insides of the drawers bright colors. No VOC paint and primer in one would be perfect for this project, as would this ideal blue color (my favorite!). 🙂

Misty Coast! We just bought a house, so the whole place needs a fresh coat…but I’d probably paint the entryway this color to start.

Solitary tree. I saw a bookcase painted this color once and I have always loved it. My front door could use a fresh coat of paint. It has been about the same happy yellow of the doors you just painted for 4 years now. Great choice!

With a baby on the way, our guest room is getting a new purpose… but the lime-green-with-a-hunter-green-accent-wall that the previous tenants painted this room has to go! I want to do a nice deep gray so the white furniture and colorful toys will pop – maybe Moonquake?!

Hillside Grove(in the greens), I would love to paint the little wall facing my front door this lovely color. My apt is has a mid-century modern feel, so I think it would make a stunning first impression. The color and a couple of framed antique botanical prints— ugh!! Perfection.

That yellow door is to DIE for. Right now, my favorite BEHR paint color has been “bit of sugar.” My husband and I just bought a home, and I’ve wanted to add tons of color to our home without it looking too cluttered or “busy.” I’ve found that plain white walls are best for the splashes of color of our decor!

I love the Aguifer MQ6-08.
This would be a great wall to use for headshots but I would be able to add DYI clouds hanging to use for so many kids shoots like adding a plane for pilots, added a hot air balloon for 3-6 month olds, added any type of furniture for my couples and even just plain doors for teens~!
