I fell in love with the Liberty of London line of products in the Oh Happy Day shop. I thought it’d be fun to make a matching favor bag using the napkins. If you have a large shower or party, these are super inexpensive – which leaves more in the budget for something amazing tucked inside the favor bag (chocolate truffles, perhaps?). I used the blue version of the napkin but the yellow would be equally as cute!
Materials needed: mini kraft paper bags, scissors, mini clothespins, card stock, large size liberty napkins, thank you for coming template.
Step 1: Print out tags from thank you for coming template. Cut into individual strips. (A paper cutter is useful here, if you have one). If you wish, create your own labels with the baby’s name, the couple’s name, the date of the special event, or the hashtag. Set labels aside.
Step 2: Open a liberty print napkin and cut in in half at the top fold.
Step 3: Turn the napkin and cut 1/8” inch off the other edge which connects the layers.
Step 4: Cut in half. Some sides with have scallops, some will not. Fill the mini paper bag with goodies and fold the top over to close.
Step 5: Line up the bottom of the napkin with the crease of the bag as a guideline, and fold the top part over the bag.
Step 6: Clip the napkin, paper tag, and bag closed with the mini clothespin.

Liberty patterns really are timeless, they looked good 100 years ago and still will be fresh in a 100 more. That’s a simple idea to enhance a party, thanks Chiara.
Wishing you a gorgeous Spring from Provence, nature is in full bloom here at the moment.
