Fun & fresh geometric patterns never get old! These little gift bags are great for edible treats, small gifts, or any summer occasion. Use one pattern or all three and have a fun give-away for any gathering (hint: geometric party)!
Materials: Printable Geometric Gift Bag template, 8.5 x 11 paper or card stock (for sturdier bags), craft knife, bone folder, Japanese screw punch, patterned scissors, ruler or other straight edge, glue stick, ribbon or other pretty string (I used suede ribbon that I picked up from a craft store).
Step 1: Print out the Printable Geometric Gift Bag template on 8.5 x 11 paper or card stock.
Step 2: Score the indicated fold marks using the bone folder, then cut out the bag & tag using the craft knife & straight edge.
Step 3: Using your patterned scissors (optional) cut the top edge of the bag template.
Step 4: Put glue on the bottom & side tabs of the template and assemble according to the pictures below. Let dry to secure glue.
Step 5: Once dried, pinch the top of the bag to the short sides of the bag fold in (see picture).
Step 6: Using the Japanese hole punch (a standard hole punch will work too) punch 2 holes on the top of the bag.
Step 7: Add candies or small gifts to the bag and tie with a cute ribbon. Make sure to fill out the hang tag!
