Paper Plate Curtain Backdrop

Our friend Rebecca Thuss of Thuss + Farrell made these incredible curtain backdrops from our paper plates! Here’s what she has to say about this clever DIY:

“I once made a paper plate photo backdrop for a kids party, and the moment I saw the thin rim on the Oh Happy Day plates I knew I had to make one again but much larger. I simply punched holes in the plates- top and bottom, connected them together with binder rings in metallic colors, and added in some cut shapes. This installation would be great in any color combination…wild, soft pastels, a 2 color palette…all white plates against a dark wall would be so chic. Everyone loves walking through it…it’s like a giant mobile.” – Rebecca

So fun & clever!! I’ve always wondered what to do with leftover plates when I buy them for one party and have extras. Problem solved!

This is so awesome, but holy cow, it would take forever to make! If you’re going to make this you better have a few people to help you string together all those plates!
