Neighbor Gift: Reindeer Wine Label

Every holiday season, I like to bring my neighbors a little something — fresh baked cookies, a small box of chocolates, a bottle of bubbly. It only takes a little time, and it gives you a chance to break the ice (if you don’t know them already)! No matter the gift, if you present it with a little extra care, your neighbors will be sure to love it. Today, we’re showing you how to dress up a bottle of wine like everyone’s favorite red-nosed reindeer. It’s a perfect way to make your holiday neighbor gift just a bit more festive!

Neighbor Gift: Reindeer Wine Label | Oh Happy Day!

I find that the best neighborhood gifts to give (and receive!) are ones that help with entertaining. A homemade bundt cake or bottle of wine can help make preparations for their next holiday get together a little easier.

Materials needed: Reindeer printable, colored cardstock, scissor, glue gunred pom-poms, bottle of champagne

Step 1: Print out the reindeer template and cut out all the elements. Take the cut outs and trace the pieces on the colored cardstock. Use different colors on the cardstock to really get the reindeer feeling.

Step 2:  Cut a strip of cream colored cardstock to cover the label on the bottle. Then cut out all the other pieces.

Step 3: Glue all the pieces on the bottle starting with the cream label cover  Glue the red pom-pom as the nose, and your good to go!

Thank you for the wonderful idea! Your website is amazing and has really made life’s celebrations much more aesthetically pleasing. I reindeer-ified a jar of homemade chili oil to gift today, the candy lights you posted years ago appear every christmas in my living room, and everyone will be wearing Christmas tree hats for dinner on the 25th – thank you for all the instructions and ideas!
