Custom Made: Burger Baby Shower Favors

A close friend of mine is having a baby next month! She and her husband decided to have a co-ed baby shower, a chill rooftop hang with their good friends, complete with their favorite burgers (Shake Shack!) and cold beers. Most of their friends were bringing their children to the party, so I decided to make something small (burger-themed!) just for the kids.

Immediately, I thought about using these rad old-school foil cheeseburger bags to package the favors. And these 12×12″ checkered paper liners (they come in several colors, but I chose red) were perfect for wrapping burger sticker activity books to keep the kids occupied during the baby shower.

I made 1″ smiley-face and “SMALL FRY” buttons for the kids. But you can find something similar if you search for “cheeseburger” or “french fry” buttons on sites like Etsy. (These vintage McDonald’s enamel pins are awesome. I also love this little dude.)

It’s always a good idea to include some sweet treats, so I included these gummy burgers and a candy pacifier (these are a hit, and a hoot, especially when all the bigger kids are walking around the party with pacifiers in their mouths).

I made yellow stickers to put on the foil wrappers. You can download the design here, print them on label paper and cut them out with scissors or, ideally, with a 1 3/4″ circle punch.

Celebrating a bun in the oven with burgers and beers and a bunch of friends — it’s just the best.

You’re such a sweet friend! These are beyond cute. They’d be awesome at a 50s throwback party too, with their old-school American diner vibe.

Those buttons are making me want my own button maker now too…!
