Mylar Letter Balloons showed up on the scene about five years ago (they were always around just not as trendy.) Now they are everywhere. I still love a good letter balloon display but we’ve been playing around with ways to hang them that don’t feel so buttoned up and perfect. Here are some fresh new ways to hang your letter balloons. (ps: We sell these bad boys in the Oh Happy Day Party Shop.) First up: spell out a ton of words! For this wall we listed all the things that make us happy but you could list the reasons you love someone, or some poetry. Make a big statement, literally.
Remember to tape the blow-up nozzles to the back of the balloons, it looks so much better. I use washi tape so it comes off easily. If you are careful with the balloons you can actually deflate them and reuse them at a later date.
One time we had some balloons hung in the studio and one side fell down overnight. When we came in the next morning we actually liked it more a little disheveled. Lately we’ve been hanging them asymmetrical or “fallen” on purpose. This “Moving on Up” is perfect for your friend that got a promotion.

Nice pictures and ideas again! Funny how you can discover great ideas by accident (like the fallen letter) 😉

how might you apply this to a textured wall since conventional tape is a no go. 🙁
Hey Alecia! We just did a big post on hanging party decorations. Hopefully this helps: http://bit.ly/2jrzY7K
