I discovered these linking balloons a few years ago at a trade show and loved the idea of decorating for a party with them. Each balloon comes with a bit of extra latex tail so that it can be easily tied to the mouth of the next balloon. It is seriously EASY and makes a big party impact. My favorite thing. You can buy the link a loons in the shop here and here.
We mixed in a few confetti link a loons (just add confetti to the clear balloons!) to spice things up. This garland might be my favorite thing we’ve made lately. Going to add it to every party.
Materials needed: Oh Happy Day Quicklink Bundles in 6” and 12”, confetti, balloon hand pump, twine, gaffers tape
Step 1: Fill clear balloons with confetti before inflating.
Step 2: Inflate balloons with the balloon hand pump (we inflated our 12” balloons to about 9” to keep a rounder shape!).
Step 3: Rub the confetti-filled balloons with your hands to make the confetti stick.
Step 4: Link the balloons! The Quicklink balloons make this super simple. Just tie the knot of one balloon to the end of another.
Step 5: Tie twine around the first and last balloons of each strand and tape to the ceiling to hang.
