I think it’s safe to say everyone will be very happy by the time Election Day rolls around. If you are like me, you may be up all night watching every available news outlet. A cupcake (or two, or three) with friends seems like it might be a well-deserved treat. These little toppers – inspired by political yard signs – are super fast and easy to make. Remember, every vote counts!

Materials needed: cardstock, wooden coffee stirrers, glue, scissors, i voted! template.

Step 1: Download and print out the I VOTED template (here).
Step 2:  Cut out the “signs” leaving a 1/16 inch white border around each. A paper cutter would make this step go faster, if you have one.
Step 3: Cut a wooden coffee stirrer down to 3 ½ or 4 inches, and glue it to the back side of the sign.
Step 4: Insert into cupcakes and enjoy!
