Did you know September 22nd is Elephant Appreciation Day? Whether or not you plan to celebrate these magnificent creatures, these cupcake toppers are a great decoration for baby showers or kids parties. Can it get any cuter than an elephant holding a flag? I didn’t think so.

Materials: Printable Elephant Cupcake Topper Template, 8.5 x 11 card stock, scissors, tooth picks, washi tape.

Step 1: Print out Printable Elephant Cupcake Topper Template on a 8.5 x 11 card stock.
Step 2: Cut out the elephant heads with scissors getting as close to the edge of the artwork as possible.
Step 3:  Turn each piece over and tape on a toothpick.
Step 4: Double over a piece of washi tape over a toothpick and cut out a little flag shape.
Step 5: Fold the elephant trunk up slightly before setting in a cupcake. Once positioned add the flag.
