It’s tail-gating season! I’m the kind of sports fan that shows up for the food so we put together a little tailgate party inspiration for your own sporty get-togethers. Ours involves lots of balloons, tons of bunting and really great food.We cut out a bunch of bunting and made inspirational signs with stickers and cut out letters. I use balloons at almost anything I do and I’m a huge fan of getting these Balloon Time Helium Tanks (you can get them at any party store–I’ve been using them for years. I keep one on hand for last minute parties or when I need to bring a balloon for someone’s birthday.) For an event it’s nice to be able to blow up the balloons on site and not have them get tangled up. For food we went with classic sports foods like soda, beer, pretzels, hotdogs and popcorn. Yay sports!
Make sure you head over to the Balloon Time site to see ALL the photos and get the DIY for our balloon sticks!

I’ve just returned to the South after living on the east coast for many years. Football is such a big deal here and I’m not the biggest fan. But this is the sort of tail-gaiting I can get behind and also invite some football-loving friends! 😉
