Today we’re sharing a sweet and simple baby shower theme idea. We were inspired by the pretty new packaging on JOHNSON’S Bedtime products. There are a bunch of great new colors and patterns available exclusively at Target, but we chose to design a party inspired around the Bedtime product line…
Lavender makes a great non gender specific color alternative. You can also add touches of mint, gold, kraft and just a hint of ombre to keep things interesting. Try to stay simple and elegant and don’t go all out with the blatant baby references! If you’re in a rush (or have a limited timeline for planning), this shower can also be pulled together quickly. You only need an afternoon to gather supplies.
Below, check out our step-by-step guide showing how to host a beautiful, gender-neutral baby shower:
1. Serve lavender lemonade in champagne flutes and macarons embellished with gold brushstrokes…
2. Fill milk bottles with lavender colored gumballs or other assorted candy to provide as favors…
3. Finally, ‘Baby Shower Bingo’ might be a great substitute for those over-the-top baby shower games. Ask your guests to draw or write their guesses for what gifts you will receive and cross them off while you’re opening them. Download the free printable right here.
As a gift for the new mom, think about giving a collection of items that match the shower theme. They don’t have to be baby-related: candles, candies, and small treats always appreciated. You could even add bottles of matching JOHNSON’S Bedtime products (which can be used for moms or babies.)
This post is sponsored by JOHNSON’S®. The newly designed bottles are available now at Target and Target.com.
