When I saw all the beautiful paper napkins in the Oh Happy Day Shop, I thought to myself, “These are too pretty to wipe your mouth on!!” This garland could not be simpler. I used the large Candy Stripe napkins, the pink Diamond Party napkins, and pink Classic Cocktail napkins, but you could easily customize this garland to match whatever colors and/or patterns you are using!
Materials needed: Napkins (we used these: large Candy Stripe napkins, the pink Diamond Party napkins, and pink Classic Cocktail napkins), sewing machine (not shown), scissors, thread
Step 1: Begin by cutting each napkin in half – you will get twice as much length and it will go through the machine easier.
Step 2: Fold each piece of the napkin diagonally.
Step 3: Run the top edge through the sewing machine, being careful at the beginning of each napkin to make sure the stitches do not catch on the napkin.
Alternatively, if you don’t have a sewing machine, you could use glue and string following the method shown here.

One question I always have with these beautiful garlands is tips on exactly how to get them set and stitched perfectly. Would love a step by step on best practices on how to use the sewing machine to make these classy garlands.
