Today’s costume is so fun! The Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies – so I’d love to be Maria for Halloween. This costume is easy to pull together with some basic items. Finish with a guitar and straw bag filled with few of your favorite things! Materials: Straw Hat, Black Long-Sleeved Tee, Black Dress, Grey Apron, Straw Bag, Guitar, Black Ballet Shoes

Once we had all the materials, this costume was really easy to pull together. Most of the items were purchased at a thrift store. We made a simple apron using gray fabric and attached it with velcro to the dress. (You could also purchase one.)
