Cards for My Collection

I always keep a nice stock of cards in a box ready to send out snail-mail-style. Nothing better than finding a handwritten envelope mixed in with all your bills! Here are some new cards I want to add to my collection. Do you still send out real cards? For me the secret to sending out cards is having stamps on hand since going to the post office < death.

    I love the first three!
Nothing beats the joy of finding a handwritten card in the mailbox, that’s why I love sending them to friends =)

B, C, and I are my favourites. I love the heart shaped one. Irregularly shaped cards are extra cool.

My mom inspired me to use up old stamps whenever I send a card. I can spend hours pairing analogous colors, or finding images appropriate to the recipient. Sometimes they take up 1/2 of the envelope, but as long as they add up to first class postage, they’ll get the card there (and look nifty doing it)!

Thank you for this reminder! I so need to have a few cards ready to go out. It’s really convenient and such a grown up thing to do. It’s a sign of true adulthood!
