Simple and sweet party favors are the best in my book. I always keep a stash of glassine bags in various sizes handy. Add a scalloped flap to the top of the bag along with a personalized message and you are good to go. I used patterned origami paper for this project, but you can use solid or patterned cardstock or even fabric.
Materials: patterned origami paper, x-acto knife, ruler, cutting mat, scalloped scissors, 2.75″ x 4.5″ glassine bags, stapler, staples, glue stick, white sticker paper, printer or pen
Step 1: Cut a 2” x 2.75” piece of patterned paper. Fold in half length-wise.
Step 2: Use scalloped scissors to scallop one long edge of the patterned paper.
Step 3: Fill glassine bag with treats. Fold the top down two times and staple at the top of the glassine bag.
Step 4: Apply glue to the back of the scalloped paper and adhere to the top of glassine bag.
Step 5: Print or write out a message on white sticker paper. Use X-acto knife and cut the message in 0.5” x 7” long strips.
Step 6: Remove backing on the message sticker and center it on top of the scalloped flap.
