1. Honey of a Thousand Flowers‘ wedding arrangements always impress me.
2. These mini honeycomb picks by A Subtle Revelry are so cute!
3. ban.do has designed the perfect party accessory.
4. Yes. The Period Store‘s launch party was menstruation themed (and totally awesome.)
5. DIY fans to keep you cool in the summer heat by Mr. Printables.

Including The Period Store was in poor taste. I expect better of your blog.

Shauna, get over yourself. Are periods not a natural part of life? Or are they just one more of those things that women can never talk about in the endless aim to be project a perfect, sterilized and unrealistic image?
Be open to the possibility that even those things you don’t agree with can still be valid.

Shauna, hope you enjoyed you’re stay in the modern society while it lasted, but, yeah… um, have a safe journey back home to the dark ages.

Jhaneel, just because you think it’s right doesn’t make it so. I wholly expected the comment, ‘get over yourself.’ Trite and overused. I never cease to be amazed at how crude people have become. It’s not that women can’t talk about such things, it’s that they should choose not to. People should choose not to. You may continue to flow through the gutters of life. Enjoy the ride.

I think the The Period Store addition is in poor taste, but I recognize that other people might not have the same view. I am grateful Jordan selected one of the less jarring visuals for her post. Blood-themed food of any kind makes me gag.
It’d be nice if the other readers allowed for differing opinions without stooping to rudeness.

I love this little series you do.
It was nice seeing you and your family last Friday at Paul’s opening. Did you see the little post I did on it?
Warmly,
Jen

Let’s remember this is Jordan’s blog and therefore can post whatever she’d like. Although I was not bothered in the least by the Period Store entry (Those little crowns are super fun! Great idea for stagettes or baby showers) I can also understand that it could make others uncomfortable. Everyone has a choice to click through to the source page. If one is uncomfortable with the idea of public discourse about menstruation and chose to click through anyway to a post that was clearly labelled “menstruation themed party”, one cannot get upset with Jordan posting a link to a styled celebration she thinks interesting.
That being said, all of today’s ideas are just lovely. Thanks for sharing Jordan!

Not gonna touch the period topic, though I am somewhat interested in the Period Store, which I hadn’t been to before. However, I really like the other stuff, especially those cute arctic animal fans! Just imagine fanning yourself with a polar bear. Too cute!
