Parties to Pretties – Fade Away

by Emmadime

This tablecloth blew my color loving mind – what a dramatic piece that drives the entire mood of the room! I couldn’t help but indulge in the ombre goodness. I am very tempted to try dip-dying on my own on a smaller scale – Maybe napkins!

So, so beautiful! Can’t you imagine an outdoor space with multiple tables draped in ombre tablecloths?

Please share your technique if you do try making your own – I’d love to give it a shot also. You always have the most fabulous execution!

Oh my god! I am in love with that table cloth! What a fantastic application for the trend. I’m trying to think of other large scale items that it could be applied to now!

Love it! Let us know how the DIY goes if you do it? Just last week I bought some hand dye with the same aim of dip dyeing some ombré effect – but for me it’ll be a White bedsheet to use as a DIY baby sling – haven’t got around to it yet, but now I feel reinspired, thanks.

This is one of the prettiest examples I’ve seen — I agree! Thank you for sharing. The sheen looks special, as well — I wonder what kind of fabric she used? (Yes, make the napkins!) That color. Incredibly striking and what a fun party that would be.

Note: I’m been dipping everything this Spring but here are two “Ombre” gift wraps I did and have a diy. The wraps were so pretty, I was tempted to just frame them instead.

Wow, that table cloth is so amazing (I think I’m tempted to make it myself as well), and so is that bowl! I love ombre decor and products!

The ombre cloth is so pretty…but I think I’d love that sun-through-a-skylight type of space, too!
