Parties to Pretties – A Hint of Green

by Emmadime

When hosting a meal, taking the simple route can be less overwhelming but a challenge – you don’t want to end up being boring or flavorless. To keep things beautiful ( and affordable ), adorn your tabletop with rosemary and air plants while sprucing up your water with some lemon and herbs. Don’t forget to let some light in to keep the setting bright and cheery!!

This is a super cute idea, but I think I’d totally do it just for daily decorations in my kitchen, or in my living room. It would smell so good that way…

These are really good ideas. I love subtle details like this and I think the smells would make a simple meal that little bit more special, thanks for the ideas!

This is such a beautiful post. I always put a little thyme or rosemary in a old jam jar on the table, for the smell, and to grab and sprinkle a little over dinner. It’s the best.

Oh I know what you mean. I always have a hard time “decorating” outdoor dinner parties. I always fail to realize, the outdoors ARE the decor!

Beautiful neutral colors in this post. Love how some objects are in the photo, and others are inspired by it. Thanks also for the photo link to Tartelette, first time I saw her blog; such subtle yet clear colors, so pretty!

i love jars for dispensing drinks at parties . . . if only there was a sure fire way to avoid the dribbles, i’d love to hear it!

Why does everything look so much more charming and romantic in a blog post??? But these are truly lovely doable ideas.
