Inspiration Edition No. 5

We just got back from our trip to Rome (it was so wonderful!) so I’m just unpacking today and doing laundry. But here is what I’m inspired by right now.

1. This awesome concept store and bookshop.
2. Looking for ideas for Moses’ birthday party.
3. I want to make a Christmas village of these houses (or maybe ornaments?) (via Ez)
4. We romped all around Rome with these rainbow umbrellas,Β made the grey weather colorful.
5. I want this print blown up big for my wall.
6. Still dreaming of the Italian food we ate, this colorful bottle of olive oil seems just right (via Oh Joy)
7. I spent a good hour searching for vintage French ornaments to bid on today. So pretty…

My in-laws gave me two boxes of vintage ornaments just like those when we were first married. They’re so bright and festive!

That print is so intriguing. I’ve been eyeing it on Pinterest today. It seems to be making the rounds. You’ve inspired me to finally pin it!

I love the glass ornaments. I inherited one just like the 2nd from the right from my grandmother. Is it possible to tell by looking if it is French?

I’m not sure. The ones I bought were from France so I just assumed they were French. The ones I show here are vintage from the US.

it was a hit πŸ™‚ actually it took a lot of hits to break it. Perhaps I made it a little too strong πŸ™‚

I love the ornaments! My mom found a whole basket full of some in that style at a rummage sale and brought them back for me. I was thrilled!
