Hip hip hooray, it’s Friday! I had such a great day. I went shopping in the Marais this morning and then bought some pretty roses from my favorite flower shop. This afternoon I had a quick photoshoot at my apartment and this evening I went out for tacos at Candeleria with my new photographer friend Valerie followed by a nice long walk around the streets of Paris talking. Do you have any fun plans this weekend? I’m having brunch then hitting a little flea market in my neighborhood with a friend plus I’m hoping to tackle a few new crafting projects. I hope you have a happy weekend. (ps: Babble links below!)
I also write for Babble.com. Here are my posts this week!
Missoni for Target, Missoni for Target! Who got one of the coveted throw blankets?
Yowza! JCrew launched a new clothing line called Wallace & Barnes.
Speaking of J.Crew did you see their first Ready to Wear runway collection?
I love Talbots (I know, my mom shops there too) Holiday Collection.
The best superhero costumes ever.

Sounds like a fun weekend for you! I’m going midnight bowling, going to the local Oktoberfest, doing lots of reading, and maybe getting started on some curtains I bought fabric for 🙂

My daughter and I were at Target first thing in the morning and there was no lineup, so we basically had our pick of whatever that store had in stock. I looked over the throw and didn’t think it was very good quality so I left it there; the throw pillows were poorly made. The luggage was nice, as were the clothes. The silk scarves were definitely worth buying. Sadly, the one thing we both wanted were the towels and they didn’t get any of those at that particular store.

I purchased the coveted (2nd choice) Natural-tone Missoni throw blanket at 6:45am on the day of the launch, but it has yet to ship and they are estimating that I might not receive it until the end of October.
I think they wish I would cancel the order but I’ll patiently wait for that little throw. I know it’s going to be uhmazing.
