My friend Sharon is in town from New York so we went to a beautiful cafe here in the 7th called Pain et Chocolat this morning for breakfast. Lindsey from Lost in Cheeseland took me here a few weeks ago and I loved it so much I couldn’t wait to go back. It is half a block from Rue Cler. The owners are adorable, the food is impeccable and the presentation is gorgeous. I highly recommend this place for brunch.

Oh my, that place looks diviiine! When I was in Paris a few years ago, pain au chocolat was my FAVORITE breakfast item. I was rather surprised at how pricey it could be to have a nice cup of coffee and pastry in Paris though!

I moved to London with my husband and daughter three months ago. Prior to the move we committed to monthly trips to Paris. You are creating our weekend itineraries!! Thank you! Can't wait to try the flea market and Pain et Chocolat this weekend.
How are you doing with learning the language? We're getting a tutor to help us figure it out!
