Mad Men is back and has me thinking of all things mid-century. These lovely colorful phones from Sweet Bella are from the 1950’s British General Post Office and have been rewired so that you can plug them in to use at home. That is, if you remember how to use a rotary telephone!

Oh, these are great. You have to have a really long cord and twirl it around while you talk…ahh.

I have a pink rotary phone. The great thing about it is the ability to function during a power outage.

i love, love, love these old phones. we bought one a while ago and it still has an old phone number on it – we've been dying to call it and tell them we have their phone!

My parents still use their rotary phone (it's yellow like your second picture). They are constantly losing digital phones in lightning storms but the old rotary never fails.

Lovely colours. The weight of the receiver in your hand felt good, as did the sound when you dialled. Ahhh.

These are so adorable. I have been eyeying vintage rotary phones like these for a long time, but can never decide on one since we don't have a land line in our apartment.

Love these! So darling. And everyone needs to have a rotary phone at home simply so their little ones know how to play with the classic fisher price toy phone!
