Roman is such an awesome name. My best friend and I had lunch today and she was born with Cleft Palat and Cleft lip and she was saying how upset she was that her parents never too pictures of her as a baby until she had all her surgeries. She said that she really wanted to see pictures of how she looked.
then I saw this post and it made me happy. you're a good mama. Your son will appreciate seeing what he looked like through all the diffent stages.
he's adorable. I hope you have a quick recovery and I hope he does well with all his surgeries to come.

During struggles with my daughter's health, I think about my mom telling me that she believes that God chooses special parents for extra special babies. I have often reminded myself that "I Can Do All Things in Him That Strengthens Me" (Philippians 4:13) and "Every good and perfect gift is from above" (James 1:17). Congrats on the arrival of your beautiful baby boy! My 'baby' boy, almost 15, was born with a bi-lateral cleft lip and palate. He is an amazing young man and his journey has made our entire family stronger.
