I love the decor of the Parker Palm Springs. The second I ever own some real estate with a yard I will invest in several stripey umbrellas.

I love it too! I was obsessed with going there until they had that horrible show on TLC or Bravo about it. It looks like everybody who worked there was a jerk and totally turned me off. Oh well, I still want to go, but I don’t think I’ll plan a special trip anymore. Love the umbrella and I also love the firepit pics on their site.

In the summer (or past summers anyway) they had great deals like book a room and get a $200 spa credit.Free room or free massage!

yes yes! stripes are good! very good!
By the way, I’ve got an awesome watch to give away over at my blog. Perhaps you’d like to win it for yourself or for your hubby (it’s a men’s style watch). 🙂

I went to the Parker Palm Springs for a Bachelorette weekend. It was odd, but in a fun way. I’ve never been a Palm Springs type, but I was oddly inspired by the heat and the gorgeous, and yes, odd interior design. I would highly recommend it, if only for the experience and inspiration!

I've been dying to go to Palm Springs forever. Stripes – they're sop happy, summer and retro!

I fell in love with the Parker, as well. Check out some of my photos of it and Palm Springs here: http://www.160over90.com/blog/2008/12/05/mid-century-modern-oasis/.
