When I saw these amazing pictures of Jodi Levine’s wedding I was surprised that I don’t remember seeing them before. Her love of paper was incorporated into all the details. See more pictures here. {Does anyone know what issue of Weddings this was in?}

the issue is at least 6 years old because I remember being obsessed with this wedding when planning my own!

I think it was from 2001–that’s the last time I subscribed to Weddings and I think it was in one of those issues.

It’s the Spring 2001 issue–the cover is mostly white and features a colorful paper boquet. I was so inspired by her wedding! Her boquet was made of paper flowers. My friends and I had a little paper flower crafting party. 🙂
I still have this issue from when I was planning my wedding. Let me know if you want me to scan in some pages for you . . . or send copies snail mail?
I love your blog! Found it recently via Design Mom.

I also remember seeing details regarding her custom dress and how she made her paper bouquet on the Martha Stewart Weddings DVD set, which is available at my local library.

I have this issue! I wanted her dress. I still refer to this issue when I’m giving friends ideas for their upcoming weddings 🙂

Jodi Levine is one of my favorite citizens of Marthaville. I loved her work during the ‘Kids’ years. All of her crafting projects are so great. Her wedding dress was excellent.

I have that issue also. It was so interesting because she originally wanted a paper dress and then decided against it and had a very sculptural one made instead. Best of all…she let her bridesmaids wear whatever they wanted as long as they wore bright vibrant shades of red, from raspberry to red-orange to a paler tangerine. It was incredible.
She also wrote and styled an article in the issue on making the same paper flowers that were shot on the cover.

I sure remember this! I freelanced one night at Martha Stewart Weddings to help Rebecca Thus and my good friend Katie Hatch make some of the paper flowers!
Jodi is the nicest lady. And so very talented.

I loved this wedding so much. I think Jodi is responsible for the raw edge trend I love so much & see everywhered now. Remember the dress?

I think part of what made this wedding so special is Jodi herself.. she was a beautiful bride, but she’s also just such a lovely person.. I think that came through in all the details of her wedding day.
