Speaking of Presidents I saw this on ffffound and it made me tear up. It is Teddy Roosevelt’s diary the day his wife Alice died from Bright’s disease. He was 25, she 22.
One of the sweetest sentences written…Thanks for sharing! I found your blog and LOVE seeing what beautiful things you have on there and the sassy way you have with words! Erin http://www.dellerdupate.wordpress.com

To make it even more powerful, I believe it was also the same day his mother died. Also, Teddy and Alice’s daughter was born just a few days before her mother’s death, and he later christened their daughter Alice. Thanks for posting this- quite beautiful

I was 23 when my husband passed away – the day after he turned 25. I could not sum it up better.

I just found your blog and am sniffing as I type this–I had never seen that before. What a tragic thing to be so eloquently felt on a piece of paper….
