Someone out there woke up and thought this was going to be a regular day. They were wrong. Little did they know today would be day they would meet the boots of their dreams.
Here is the sad story: I worked at Anthropologie about two years ago. I had been keeping my eye on these amazing boots online but they were $500. If someone ordered shoes online and then returned them in store employees could buy them for some crazy huge discount. Someone with a 7.5 shoe returned these boots and I bought them even though I wear an 8. I figured I could just wear a thin sock. Two seconds later, before I even wore them I got pregnant and my feet grew a quarter size. It is just enough that there is no chance I could comfortably wear these any where. I’ve been saving them thinking my feet would get smaller but I’ve finally given up hope.
So here they are–BRAND NEW. Never been worn {the soles are spotless.} Perfect red leather boots in a 7.5 size. I’m selling them for the same price I got them after all my sweet employee discounts. $160. I just want them *sniff* to go to a good home.
[Update: I have several potential buyers thanks for the interest everyone.]

A friend once told me that as long as the leather is really good (which it obviously is, looking at these pictures) you can get them stretched by a shoe repair professional. I’d give it a try. My heart would break if I had to part with boots like those.

You sure you don’t want to give them new life in Seattle?

I think having your feet grow is the one of the weirdest things that can happen during pregnancy!

I watched for these to go on sale too. My foot is about a size too big. I’m happy for the lucky duck.

These remind me of her boots in “Footloose.” Only I think her’s might have been cowboy-esque.
