I’m finally getting stuff accomplished on the decorating front. I slowed down for a while but now I’m back in business. Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of home decorating posts the next little bit. {BTW: did you see Rita Konig’s decorating tips on Frolic? So Great.} I’m thinking I want two of these at the foot of the bed. I like the idea of being able to pull random seating in from all over when lots of guests show up.

X Benches seem like the perfect design solution because you can use them in so many ways, and they’re still light and airy with the open bottom. I hope you do post lots of interiors and design inspiration…I love that (and need it)!

I LOVE these Benches – kind of like 2008-ottomans. I can’t quite tell, but is it a padded canvas top? could you wrap other fabric around and staple-gun underneath? I love them plain, but they would be cool in a bright pattern too. or for serving tea on. beautiful!

what a silly-billy – just went to the website and there they are in lots of patterns, and they’ll even make one up in your fabric of choice.
That’ll teach me for commenting without checking the facts…

I’ve been stalking those same x-benches for a while now. I can’t wait to see what pattern you decide to go with!

Oh, I was so excited to see they’re from Ballard Design and not a highend place where I could never justify the price. Really nice! I can see those in my living room as ottomans, extra seating totally multifunctional. Love them!

I clipped these from an old Ballard catalog a few years ago. They are a design classic! I love the way two of them look at the end of a bed.
