Tracey Garet‘s design portfolio is wonderful. This is how I want my apartment to be: traditional, but with a twist–grown up, but with a little personality. These photos got me thinking about art hanging on my bookshelves–I have plenty of shelves that stay dormant 95% of the year. Also, the stripey shade makes me happy.

I admire how she’s ‘unafraid’ of her enormous shelf? I was thinking, if i were her, i wouldn’t have the guts to have it so ‘lived in’ as she did. It’s amazing and it’s gorgeous and i wanna hang out in one of the cubby holes.
