Once a month a guy sets up his sewing machine in Cohen Alley in the Tenderloin and sews and repairs things for people. I love stuff like this. I love San Francisco. {Thanks Aubs.}

The idea of someone doing that is just so great, on so many levels. I also think the photo is awesome. And so is that machine!
We used to have a guy in Santa Cruz that hauled his piano around town, playing on the street. I often wonder where he is now.

Oh my goodness! How strange! You think he’d fix all the mistakes I make with the clothes I make my girls? I sure there’s about four in every dress. Why can’t we have strange niche things like this in PA?
