My friend Michelle just got back from Europe, her last stop was in Zurich. Right as I was leaving to New York she dropped off this box of mini macaroons. They were so colorful and small and yummy. I love the packaging. They were a little smooshed from weathering the long flight but trust me, they were tasty. Thanks Michelle!

We stopped in Zurich while we were in Italy…Sprungli has the BEST fresh chocolate truffles, !!!! I wish we had purchased more. I have NEVER tasted chocolate so good.

I love love love these so much! Whenever my boss travels to Zurich, she brings back a huge box of macaroons. Pistachio and champagne-flavored are my favorite!

I adore macarons. My favorite are from a store in Cannes called Jean Luc Pele–caramel beurre sale! (sorry, I need accents on a couple of those e’s).
