ch-ch-ch-changes

For as much time as I spend on this blog I have never really had grand aspirations for it. I am always sort of embarrassed to tell people I have a blog. I haven’t changed my header in over a year and my sidebar links need to be updated in the worst way {my sister started a blog forever ago and I haven’t even added her.} Besides that, I am three months behind in answering emails, and then I feel bad, like those people will think I’m stuck up for not answering their email. The only reason I even have ads is because Paul talked me into it and then set it up for me. My point is I’ve been sort of a slacker.

I’d like to apologize in case anyone noticed.

I’m going to be doing some housekeeping around here at Oh Happy Day in the next few weeks. And also some renovations, please ignore the dust while we are under construction. Thank you to everyone out there who reads this. Blogging makes me very happy.

{Also, don’t get too excited. It is nothing too fancy, just better organization, some guest bloggers and some new features.}

    Wow! I also have a blog and I feel the same way about it (I haven’t told anyone I know about it…) and I am also making changes to it after a year! Your blog is beautiful. I have just started my visits but plan to continue to stop by on a regular basis! Looking forward to seeing the changes!

    I finally “came out” of the closet to my work colleagues about a blog, but mostly because I won a web award for it and people might see the marketing. And then I discovered some of my colleagues have been reading it anyway and enjoy it!

    Your blog is amazing and you should be proud and tell everybody! And spring-cleaning is always a good thing 😉

    I like your blog the way it is. The header is like your identification – a logo. Why change what works as is? Enjoy your sweet smiling baby.

    I love coming by your blog for inspiration and ideas. Sometimes I’ll peruse the archives on an especially glum day for a pick-me-up. I’m excited for more great ideas and guest bloggers.

    I heart your blog always, it provides great inspiration.

    On the topic of blogging and peeps/talking about your blog. My dear, darling friends and family all tell me in person about things they’ve read on my blog, but they never EVER comment on the actual blog. I start thinking no one is reading, and then I’ll get together with people and one sister-in-law asks me to burn the Once soundtrack for her and someone else tells me they made a soup from a recipe I posted.

    I really only write it for them anyways, but come on people. lets interact on the blog…:)

    I have one too, but I have been having trouble getting my stuff going because my little baby is pretty clingy. 🙂

    When I first started reading your blog I was waiting for you to post something that I didn’t like. But it never happened:) The changes sound like fun, but I’ll probably always like this place, no matter what!

    I have to say I’ve been reading your blog for over a year now and I totally love it. I stumbled upon it while googling Steve Madden Loucee Mary Janes (imagine that!), and your blog was one of the results that came up. I adore reading it, and you’ve really inspired me in so many creative ways. I’m starting my own blog and going freelance later this year, after I marry my own artist….

    So again, thanks so much, and keep up the good work. It’s great to click over to “Oh Happy Day” and find some new and wonderful thing or idea from you 🙂
