Yesterday I finished printing some save the dates. The job was two-color and a bit technical because it had a border really close to the edge. They came out beautifully. I went to trim the edge on the guillotine and even though I checked it five times, when I made the cut the paper slipped and I ruined half of the job. LAME. My friend said she did that once and now she is superstitious. After she prints she always relaxes for an hour and eats a cookie before she cuts–she has never made that mistake again.

That is so frustrating. Are you going to share the Save the Dates? I’m sure they are darling!

Ugh! Terrible! However, I would LOVE some advice about where to get a letterpress, and how to get started. I’m itchin’ to!

I think everyone should relax and eat a cookie before doing something highly technical. If you can’t do a shot of whiskey, make it a cookie!
