I picked up this Sleep book for Paul the other day. It is a photo essay from the 70’s of people taking naps in public spaces. I like it because sleep is such an intimate thing, the people are so vulnerable. You can’t tell from the photo but the book is small.

I lived in fear of falling asleep on the ‘El’ when I lived on the north side of Chicago years ago. I always figured I’d miss the DePaul area and end up in Evanston.
