I know some people don’t like spending a lot of money on something that will die soon, but for me it is worth it. When I was little my dad would buy me and all my sisters flowers on Valentines Day.

& I love that Rose and Radish will not sell roses on Valentine’s Day!

But… I see succulents sticking fashionably out of there- and they’ll stick around for a while! So, you’re covered either way. Beautiful, and lasting.
The grass loopies are extremely appealing.

My husband is sending our 5 year old flowers for Valentines day and he thought it was silly, so I am glad to hear your father did the same. Beautiful blog.

My husband and I have been together for almost 13 years – 8 dating and almost 5 married – and he has always sent me flowers on Valentines Day.

I put fresh flowers in the budget. They make everyone in the house happy. And, a bunch of daisies or somthing like that doesn’t even have to cost a lot.

When my husband and I were dating we would bring me flowers every Friday after work. I get them now every once in a while, but I always treat myself on my weekly trip to Trader Joe’s. Their flowers are so inexpensive I often buy two bunches and combine them.
