i did this last year for my little cousins and they LOVED it.. they watched me make it the whole time -and picked out the felt and fabric with me. they turned out so cool.

For anybody who is less crafty (like me), don’t fret. These pictures are actually from the FAO Schwartz website. You send in your child’s picture; and they will send back a monster. Very cool. They have some other personalized things on their site to you, and if you have oodles of money left to spend, you might consider this:
